I posed this question to our class today. Carl and August had asked it last week as we were walking to the library with our library maps to search for books.
What if we made a map showing the route from our classroom to the Library? What would it look like? What do we need to include?
We noticed the hard part is that we are on the first floor and the library is on the floor below us.
So how do we show it on a map?
The students began making a map of the school trying to solve this problem. They will continue working on it at home and share what they learned tomorrow.
