The author, Mike Thalor, has written a series of Black Lagoon books. So we decided to invite other teachers into our class to read them. Some came to our room and others, like Ms. Kageyama, read the book in Music class.Mr. Kok read, The Gym Teacher From the Black Lagoon, to us.
Mr. Kok came back to read the story he wrote called, The Second Grade From the Black Lagoon. We are illustrating it. When it is bound, we will put it into our classroom library.
Mr. Owen, our school Librarian, read,The Librarian From the Black Lagoon, to us.
Mrs. Macken, our school nurse, read, The School Nurse From the Black Lagoon, to our class.
Now we are going to write our own version of a Black Lagoon book! Stay tuned.
I had a look at your class blog, Mrs. Polly, and was really excited to see all the guest readers that came to your room and read to the class. That is amazing. I would love to hear the stories that the students come up with, love Mrs. Fiddimore from the Black Lagoon !
